Inclusions of Grandeur

I woke up this morning unhindered by an alarm but accompanied nonetheless with an almost overwhelming feeling that I was behind.  My mind was flooded with a list of things I should be doing.  I recognized an immediate response of wanting to the pull the covers back over my head.  Instead, His voice assured me that these expectations were mine, not His.  He comforted me with the thought that He was for me and whether or not I completed any of those tasks, He was pleased to call me His own. James 4:1-3 says, “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. See!  This is my jam right here.  A person being led by the Spirit of the Living GOD doing what they were born to do. So often we blame God for the junk that is going on in the world.  The truth is HE gave US dominion over it, we gave it up and He got it back.  Then, He handed it over to us AGAIN!  When we are in Christ we are a new creation.  If you are not in Christ, you are still fearfully and wonderfully made in His image.  The Father is recklessly pursing you.  Slow down...He will overtake you with His Mercy and Goodness. Today is Thanksgiving, and I have much to be thankful for.  I have been on a journey that started 22 years ago.  Well truthfully it started the day I entered this big beautiful world.  I just didn't know it.  You are on a journey too and since you are reading this I am now a part of it.  I count it a huge privilege to be able to encourage you along your way.
